This is my second dA account, my first one is for my crafts, which are my main business, ~jaspenelle. This account is solely for my photographic endeavors. I suppose I should post some kind of introduction.

I am a child of nature, still filled with ideals and whimsy. Beyond that I do not feel the need for any labels. I am, and can only be, myself. Still an autobiographical statement is very hard to type without labels and there are a few that I do not mind.

I am a wife. I am married to my wonderful husband Michael, who loves me for all that I am. He is responsible for making most of my online ideas a reality. We had a handfasting on June 23rd, 2007. We have our first child one the way, due on June 11th, 2008.

I am an artist and crafter, which is my dream job. I draw most of my inspiration from life, from experiencing everything - the good and the bad. There is something that lives deep inside me which calls out to be allowed to create. It wants to learn, to grow, to live life to it's fullest. If I do not let it out I become a very cranky scary person indeed.

I am a child of the Earth. Some might call me a Pagan, a Shaman or a Witch, I don't mind any of the titles as long as they are said free of hate. I walked this path for a long time before I realized that there others walking the same way, towards wholeness. Because of this realization it has become my quest to bring this sense of community to others.

I am Jaspenelle (she who gives love freely) it is a name that was given to me in a dream. It is also my "nom d'art". While I legally retain the birthname of Kira, I feel Jaspenelle better reflects the person who I have become.

I love my life and I love to laugh. I love the sunrise and set, the passings of the moon, the smells of nature and the simple joys life has to offer. I love the ocean, she is my element. I love the feeling of being a small part in a whole. I love the outdoors, camping, hiking, drumming and dancing. I love shrimp and avocados too, so if you ever need to bribe me...

Thus far it has been quite the journey and I know there is much more self-discovery to come. I am blessed to have my husband, my friends, the spirits and my guides along this wanderlusting way.
